Other Students, Faculty, Campus Groups/Departments, and Community Constituents Engaged

Please summarize in a few words/sentences how your program/project has reached out to, involved, or engaged:

  • Other Bonners: This initiative has really aided in forming teamwork and an identity for our first group of Bonners.  While we have a lot to work on and establish regarding the use of social media tools, the planning and organizing for our initiative thus far has yielded a sense of identity.
  • Students at large: The all-campus event held in April brought in close to 200 students from our campuses.  Most of which had never heard of Bonner or our initiative before.
  • Campus Groups/Departments:
  • Community Constituents: Through this initiative, Bonner has formed a relationship with Place of Hope (POH) and has served to strengthen the relationship between POH and the Service-Learning Program.

Goals and Timeliness

Please add three updated goals.  These can be drawn from your proposal, but should be revised according to your accomplished work.

  1. To make regular use of our campus wiki
  2. To make blogging a requirement for our Bonners this coming year, utilizing Ning
  3. To be more intentional about using Facebook to reach our fellow college students
  4. Prepare our piece of a presentation/summary for the Bonner Fall Directors Meeting (workshop or fair).

Winter/Spring 2010 Goals & Progress

  • Please share how you achieved or made progress towards the goals above.
  • Please specify goals for Winter/Spring 2010
