This is the public policy CBR project we're working on (www.policyoptions.org).

The website will provide two kinds of information:

• local issue briefs with a focus on the policy options or program models addressing a specific issue (such as violence prevention or school reform) and
• policy news and resources at the local, state and national level on funding, legislation, new studies, and directories of programs and organizations.  

The goal is to have campuses organize local PolicyOptions.org bureaus which connect to courses (where the issue briefs will be produced) and also has student intern staff (who monitor and report on the news and resources in digest form using the PolicyOptions.org website).

Ideas

• The PolicyOptions.org content, especially the issue briefs, can provide the background information of discussion and debate on the other platforms organized for that purpose.
• We might be able to create a newsfeed from the local and national PolicyOptions.org website into Facebook.
